A|TECTONICS challenge is to form MICRO.ENVIRONMENTS revealing a poetic topology of senses
is the architecture and lighting design office of Kiki Kelesidou and Odysseas Klissouras, which, in 2018, after a 10 year dive in the art scene of Berlin, they return to Greece in order to reform their architectural practice and research, in the shape of A|TECTONICS
A|TECTONICS is structured around a diverse base of experimentation and design research, ranging from abstract to material synthesis, from form to sound, from geometry to ametry, from word to movement, from air to rhythm, from light to concrete mythoplastic topologies
by transceding discipline boundaries A|TECTONICS seeks practical and visionary knowledge aiming to shift architecture from the archi-mastery of the object to the a-mastery of the environment
by reconceptualizing -atectonics- as the structural potential of meaning, and correlating it with -tectonics- the expressive potential of constructional techniques, A|TECTONICS explores the poetic spatial dynamics between the mental and the corporeal potentials of our perception
architect engineer and lighting designer educated in UK, Greece and Germany, with work experience in important offices to all three countries. The last ten years she is working as an independent architect and lighting designer undertaking projects such as private residencies, office and hotel spaces, event, stage and ligthing design in Athens and Berlin. She thinks that collective work is of great importance and seeks to work closely with others expploring design challenges. She feels that desinging is an exciting process independent of scale, and that problem solving is a creative moment which needs to be shared.

an architect who conceives space as an ephemeral notion towards our struggle to understand movement – the primitive experience of movement. A notion of space accompanied by a notion of time. Lost in time. Living by forgetting not by remembering. Framed by language. Treated language as a conceptual virus and traveled away from it. And in return approached language as an another sense, and poetry as an action we can not even specify, thus ποίηση. An action beyond. An action before and after. Radical. Unnamed. Leaving traces all over. Poetry, as wind, forms the land. Sound and movement.

oneContinuousLab conceives, creates and fabricates
architectural installations, kinetic sculptural morphologies, audiovisual performances,
sound and light compositions, new media instruments and experiences
